The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI) cordially invites you to celebrate student success at the 1st Inaugural Commencement Achievement Program (CAP) Diversity Graduation 2014-2015!
You are invited to join this year’s CAP Diversity Graduation exercises on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00-9:00pm in the MDA of the Lindbloom Center. The CAP Diversity Graduation provides the college’s elite diversity leaders to share their stories journeys & stories of student success at Green River.
We invite all members of the faculty, staff & administration to register with ODEI for this most historic & inspirational celebration. The CAP Diversity Graduation celebrates the spirit of Juneteenth nationally and is co-sponsored by the Black Student Union & GDEC. The CAP Diversity Graduation will feature graduating student leaders from First Nations, the Latino Student Union, Queer & Allies, the Muslim Student Association, Sisterhood, the Pacific Islander Student Union, Brotherhood, CLEO, Outreach & Service Learning, Somali Student Alliance, Running Start, HS Completion, International Programs and the Multicultural Student Congress. The graduation will feature local artists, music and cultural performances.
Please come and support your amazing CAP students as they complete a great milestone and embark a new journey. Students are encouraged to wear their graduation gowns & traditional cultural wear for the ceremony & reception. Staff and faculty are encouraged to wear your alma mater’s regalia at the ceremony & cultural attire for the event.
