Please tell everyone your new title and a little bit about your professional background.
Web Application Developer. I was a technical consultant for little over a year after college at UW before deciding I needed a change.
What drew you to apply to Green River?
I did running start at Green river during high school, so when I saw that they were hiring, I thought that it’d be a good fit.
On the car ride to work, what do you listen to?
Usually classic rock or whatever is on the radio, I’m not too picky. Sometimes NPR if I’m feeling intellectual.
What was the very first job you ever had?
During high school one summer, I got a job as a warehouse associate at a bicycle parts supplier. Basically walking down aisles and putting parts in a box to be shipped.
What about your new position is most exciting for you?
I’m most excited about learning new things.
What is one thing you’d love to accomplish in your first year at Green River?
Make a difference.
What three accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?
1. Getting out of school without a mountain of debt.
2. Correctly betting that the Seahawks would make it to a 2nd consecutive super bowl.
3. Being there for my family.
If your coworkers were to give you an office nickname, what would that be?
B-ry. It’s a family guy reference.
