My official title is Retail Clerk Lead, but my job is mostly shipping, receiving and internet sales.

What drew you to apply to Green River?

“Bookstore” was in the job listing! Also, I thought it would be fun to work around the energy of a college campus.  It didn’t hurt that GRC is close to my home too.

My I-pod mostly.  Sometimes talk radio or a pop music station though.

What was the very first job you ever had?

I was 15 years old and got hired to paint barracks on a military base in the Azores, Portugal.

What about your new position is most exciting for you?

The wide variety of people that I get to meet every day!

What is one thing you’d love to accomplish in your first year at Green River?

I just want to have a positive impact in my work place while helping the many students I see each day.

What three accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?

Raising 2 wonderful children with my wife, getting them into college, owning and remodeling my home.

If your coworkers were to give you an office nickname, what would that be?

“Cheesehead” maybe?  Because I am a big fan of the Green Bay Packers

I happen to be pretty good at archery.

If G.R.E.E.N. were an acronym for something, what would each letter stand for?
