Who is Green River’s Interim President?
Prior to joining Green River College as interim president, Scott Morgan was the president of Spokane Community College from 2012 until his retirement in 2015. He also served as the chief executive officer for the Institute for Extended Learning, as well as chief operations officer since 2003.
Morgan has served as the operating budget director and director of financial services at the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges in Olympia. He also has worked as a fiscal analyst and senior research analyst for the Washington State House of Representatives.
In addition, Morgan served as interim vice president of administrative services at Lake Washington College, Kirkland, and vice president for administrative services at Clark College, Vancouver.
He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound.
