What drew you to apply to Green River?
I am relocating to Washington state and my passion of working in Acadamia lead me to look for work at the surrounding colleges. I feel in love with the campus at Green River College and when I dived a little deeper into the programs offered I knew it was the place for me.

On the car ride to work, what do you listen to?
News. I know. But it is actually a wonderful way to get my brain up and running, thinking critically and preparing for the day.

What was the very first job you ever had?
Subway at Paradise Valley mall in high school. It was amazing opportunity to for a high school student to work at the mall close to home. Although, I cannot eat Subway anymore.

What about your new position is most exciting for you?
Learning more. This position offers a broader range of opportunities and room for growth.

What is one thing you’d love to accomplish in your first year at Green River?
Completely immerse myself in the community of Green River.

What three accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?

  1. Raising a beautiful and loving family.
  2. Going back to college and completing a degree.
  3. Giving back to my community.

If your coworkers were to give you an office nickname, what would that be? Why?
Tiffy. That has always been the one I was given.

For Green River’s annual talent show (this doesn’t actually exist), what hidden talent would you showcase for everyone?
I would showcase a range of quilting projects that my daughter and I have worked on over the years. Although, I might have to track some of them down.

If G.R.E.E.N. where an acronym for something, what would each letter stand for?
