Please tell everyone your new title and a little bit about your professional background.
Air Force Veteran served for 7 years.
What drew you to apply to Green River?
I had previously worked at Seattle Central Community College part time and enjoyed and enjoyed the college environment.
On the car ride to work, what do you listen to?
NPR, alt rock, folk rock, blues, bluegrass, country, rap, classical.
What was the very first job you ever had?
Washing airplanes at a flight school.
What about your new position is most exciting for you?
A chance to see new processes and how they might improve.
What is one thing you’d love to accomplish in your first year at Green River?
As much as I can.
What three accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?
- I like to cook, it started out with some not so good food. It’s gotten a lot better.
- I taught myself to sail with a 27ft racing sloop and a book I didn’t read.
- The patience you learn as your get older to do the job right.
If your coworkers were to give you an office nickname, what would that be? Why?
No nicknames we gave in the military were ever nice or politically correct.
For Green River’s annual talent show (this doesn’t actually exist), what hidden talent would you showcase for everyone?
I have no hidden talent.
