Please tell everyone your new title and a little bit about your professional background.
Title: Business Advisor for the SBDC.
My background includes working as a VP in New Business Development for a subsidiary of the largest bank of the world, having my own business, being a stay at home mom and working as a DJ at a Disco.
What drew you to apply to Green River?
Knowing that they were concerned about local small businesses and offered the position of Business Advisor.
On the car ride to work, what do you listen to?
What was the very first job you ever had?
What about your new position is most exciting for you?
Helping small business owners in all forms.
What is one thing you’d love to accomplish in your first year at Green River?
I would like to learn more about all that is available to me, whether it is GRC events or classes. Taking advantage of all the knowledge and creativity this college has to offer is exciting.
What three accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?
Being a mom. My integrity. Helping others.
If your coworkers were to give you an office nickname, what would that be? Why?
Fun to work with. I enjoy my job and I am enthusiastic each day for the ability to help small businesses succeed and to work at GRC.
For Green River’s annual talent show (this doesn’t actually exist), what hidden talent would you showcase for everyone?
I am a business person with creative talent for helping businesses succeed. This talent does not translate well to a talent show.

G – Growth of students, businesses and employees
R – Ready for the next step
E – Education
E – Enjoyment
N – Next generation of business owners
